It's everything I dreamed it would be... free of dead pixels (well, there were two that responded very well to the rubbing technique; but I didn't notice those when I ran the dead pixel test pages- my sister saw them b/c she was looking at the screen from an angle.)

Everything is so crisp, even on my humble 64MB GeForce 3 Ti200. I'm using DVI of course... I think I'm going to fire up Far Cry right now.

This is an upgrade from a 15" Eizo at school and a 19" Envision CRT at home. I'm bringing it with me to campus baby!

I'm so happy, I just felt the need to share =)

I envy both of you...but of course I'm happy for both of you too! Cool monitor...someday I'll having something similar 😎

Hows the picture when you're changing resolution. Is it getting blurry in games and so on? Im thinking about buying an LCD in the future but im kind of worried about running other resolutions than native resolution will make the IQ unbearable.. Any input would greatly appreciated.

Although it?s been said many times I'll reassure again, scaling on modern LCDs is very good. On the desktop there is no reason to run in anything other than its native res. In games however if your finding you need to bolster your FPS by dropping resolution, have no fear there is no noticeable drop in IQ. I?ve even been able to run games like Morrowind at 800x600 down from my Hitachi?s native res of 1280x1024 and the picture has still looked great.

Yup, scaling on my 2001fp has been great. I've been playing farcry at 1024x768 so I can get better effects with a higher frame rate, and it still looks fantastic.

awsome man I am so wanting an LCD but they cost to much 🙁 I would do it if I could sell my current CRT but who really buys used 19" CRT's for a decent price now adays. Even new good CRT's are in the $200 range.

Just got mine and it is SWEET! 😀 However, I also have two stuck pixels (1 blue, 1 green). What is the rubbing technique and what are the dead pixel test pages?

Thanks!

When I looked for dead pixels when I bought my monitor I went to internet explorer went to about:blank and then pressed F11 and tried to find anything that was black. Maybe that's what he meant?
