Scary isn't it when you consider how much of your life you spend staring at a computer. What did people do before these crazy boxes? :D

Personally, I used to read, but I only do that on occasion now (except for magazines, which don't count) since I tend to become so immersed in a book that it consumes everything else.

Hehe.

I go in cycles myself. On a lot for a few months, then barely on for a few months. I guess I have a life half of the time.:p

Just kidding, I enjoy your posts. I still manage to read 2-3 books a week. Just lay off the TV.:D

Well, actually, they didn't do any.

Speaking of TV, I am living proof that the internet has impacted that form of entertainment. I watch about four shows every week when I used to have one or two every night. I've pared that list down to only a few that really enjoy -- West Wing (a new one), ER, Buffy (SMG!), and NYPD Blue (when it starts). I might watch a few others if my wife insists that I "spend time with her", and I'll even skip my favorites if I don't feel like it.

I have, however, been glued to the TV this week because of the History Channel's The History of Britain, which is excellent. That British guy certainly gets emphatic when he talks -- he shakes when he's making a point! :)
