Yup, DDR 465. It requires 2.8Vdimm.

My 3dmark score with a Ti4200!

System specs:
P4 2.4B @ 3.34GHz (186FSB) with 1.625 vcore (1.6 Actual)
Albatron PX845PEV Pro
Corsair PC3200 CAS2.5 512MB @ DDR 465 CAS2.5-3-3-7 with 2.8Vdimm
Abit Siluro GF4 Ti4200 128MB OTES
Antec 480 Watt PSU

I also got an Athlon XP 2700+ system, but the mobo (Epox 8RDA+) isn't functioning properly, so I had to RMA it.

Hmmmm...I would like a c1 stepoping chip like that...1.6v!!! I bet if you took it to 1.7v you get another 5-6 fsb out of it or 120mhz....

where did you get the chip??? Give us the SL code and packing date please...

I just got a 2.4B and as soon as I get my new RAM I'll be running right up there with ya... :D
(hopes)
my 1.8 ran at 2.7 easily, so I think the 2.4B can go to 3gig anyways with little problem.. since I have a nice cooler on there too. :)

It's a C1 chip.
The S Spec is SL6DV.
I'm cooling it with a simple Vantec P4 Aeroflow HSF (42C full load). I purchased this from Fry's.

:D

O ya, it's made on week 46.

Yield, I wouldn't be so sure about that.

I also have a 1.8A, but it's running at 2.8GHz.

I have 2 C1 2.4B's. Both came from Malay, both made on week 46. This one does 3.34GHz, my other C1 barely scratches 3GHz.

the the circuitry look different beneath the core? i saw a thread not too long ago that showed 2 different c1 steppings, and the curcuits that were on the bottom were arranged different, one did 3.00 at 1.7V and the other did 3.2 or somthing at default

Mine is as follow :

Asus P4PE GBL
P4 2.4B @ 3.096GHz (172FSB) with 1.625 vcore
Samsung PC2700 CAS2.5 512MB @ DDR 344 CAS2.5-3-3-6 with 2.6Vdimm ( it goes to almost 400, but P4PE jumps from 1:1 to 4:5 = 430 :( )
Chaintech GF4 Ti4200 128MB Gold
Normal 300 Watt PSU

S-code is SL6EF, week 01 / 2003

It gets stable only at 172 doing 100%, but for "normal" windows operations ( word, excel, games, etc ) it boots fairly well at 176

Gonna get some DDR400 to raise the ratio for the mem

How can you tell what week the chip was manufactured in? I remember seeing that in a thread a looooong time ago.

Hey man, great chip you got there.

Not to be rude, but I would think your 3dMarks would be higher. I am running a similar setup at "only" 2.9 GHz, and I get 14,454 marks.

No, you are comparing the two on uneven ground, and he still wins.
MSI GF 4 Ti4400 @ 312/625 vs Abit Siluro GF4 Ti4200 OTES 128MB (300/588) . He only has a lowly Ti4200 (sure it's the OTES, but still...). The GF4 (especially slower ones) seem to max out ~15000 3dmarks; if he had a 9700 his mark would be so high it would be a joke (wait for the Radeon 9900!, lightbulb8817)

ketchup - You are running your video card a good bit faster in both core and memory speed. If he used your card he'd probably clear 15,000 marks.

If you really want to make yourself feel good, underclock your card to 300/588 and retest. You will see that his scores are fine...

Also, if he gets a Radeon 9700, his 3dmark score would be killer!

LOL.... Give the Radeon to the KID ;)

Just for the kicks, and after watching the other players, i did some trial and error and found that i could boot at FSB 183 @3293 :Q:Q:Q:Q:Q:Q:Q

Into windows i can enter max at 176 @3168 but to get 100% stress stable i can only do @3096 :(

LEt me get some DDR400 and ill change the memory settings :)
