and im not sure how they will work out together.

I only have win98 first edition.
Should I plug everything in all at once and let win figure it out or what? Plz help with comments & answers thx!

I would install only the absolute essentials, processor with heatsink/fan, ram, video card, floppy drive, keyboard, mouse and hard drive.. follow the directions in the manual closely. Read up on the web how to build a system if you have any doubts. I personally would not install a modern system with the original win98 unless you know exactly what you are doing.
