My 120GB Zune is "clicking"

My wife's 120GB Zune has started bugging out on us, it's making clicking sounds (HDD error?). It won't power on, it gets to the startup screen and freezes.

Unfortunately we bought it used from a guy in the FS/FT forums nearly a year ago and it's out of warranty.

Anyone know of a way to fix this issue?

Would you say replacing the HDD counts as "fixing"

Yeah, that has to be the hard drive.

Yeah, I figured it might come down to that. Do you have to use a specific model of HDD (hopefully it isn't a Microsoft thing like with the 360...)

I've no clue how to open the case either. Any ideas?

There are plenty of videos around the internet showing how to do it. I think it is very easy actually, but the HDDs can be costly I think.

I checked on YouTube, there's a vid for opening the 80GB which I thought was identical in structure, but on step 1 the guy pops off a piece that we can't budge...

i have 2 buddys who each have 120's and the hdd went out as well
