Ok I ran my 1.8 @ 2.52ghz (140fsb) for 12 hours of prime 95 and temp never went over 51c...I did it at 1.775...

I noticed my 12v cpu cable I had daised through a case fan...When I took that off I seemed to have fixed some of the fluctuation...I also upped voltage to ddr...Overall I am not sure what did it but it worked....

I still think my power supply is on the weak side...on the 12v rail it states 10a....most top antec's run 15a on 12v for 180watts....At 1.775 my 12v rail will drop occasionally to 1.584 but for the most part holds steady now at 1.632-1.66v

I notice that the asus 4:5 seems to have a bug...Above 133 the 4:5 does not increase much...At 139fsb my scores are 2548...they are 2525 at 133fsb...if I check auto my scores went up to 2598...What's up...

<< Above 133 the 4:5 does not increase much >>

From what I read starting at 133 MHz it reverts to a 1:1 FSB:Memory ratio.

A lot of people seem to go with running at 132 so they can get the 3:4 ratio and run the memory faster.

JellyBaby-

Duvie is talking about what seems to be a latency issue when using the 4:5 ratio above 133fsb on a Asus P4S333.
i noticed it too.

bump....I encoded a movie and took about 5 minutes less per each pass and about 30-45 seconds in audio encoding for about 11minute speed up....

My personal record is now 2:44minutes to encode a 2 cd rip w/ two pass mode in gknot with high resolution, high bitrate, and soft bicubic filter, all on a 1:57minute movie...

Going to order an 350 or 400watt antec and see if the 15a on 12v rail can help me irk a bit moire...I may also look at getting a better fan for this hs...

Does anybody know where I can buy a 500rpm fan that will work and fit with the p4 hsf setup???

Yes 5000rpm...like the sunflower...I am told my will do 5000rpm but only when it gets hot. It has some sensor thatwill kick it into gear. i don't know if any of that is even true...
