MX700: Recharge it every night?

How often am I supposed to put this back in the cradle? I do it every night unless I only used it for 10 minutes or so that day. Am I wearing the battery out faster? It seems to recharge extremely quickly. Wondering if I'm supposed to run it all the way down before recharging.

Some people will same that NiCD and NiMH batteries should be drained all the way down before recharging. Personally I dont see a big difference in terms of battery life. I usually leave my MX700 off the cradle for a few days and then recharge it. Normally lasts about 3 days of normal use.

I've had this mouse for about 4-months. I'd never thought I could fall in love with a mouse.

I usually place it on the charger every night (if I remember) because I use it a lot. There have been plenty of times when I've only left it on for 15 minutes. I don't wait until I drain the batteries (then I'd be without a mouse). I still use the original set of batteries, and they still hold a charge for several days with fairly heavy use.

I wouldn't let how often you charge ,or for how long you charge them, concern you too much. Nickel Hybrid batteries are much more tolerant and cheap to replace if you have to.

NiCD batteries are the ones you want to run down before recharging. NiMH batteries are used with the MX700, so you don't have to run them down. Just put it in the cradle whenever you're not going to use it for a while, that's what I do.
