MX700 Duo - keyboard lag

Ok, another Logitech MX Duo user with some issues.

First off, the bundled MX700 mouse is great. No complaints.

But I'm getting noticeable lag issues with the included keyboard. I'm guessing that unlike the mouse, it does not use the new "FastRF" technology and is actually using an older/slower wireless protocol (?).

Any way I can reduce lag on the keyboard? I'm a fast typer, so if I can't solve this I think I may have to go back to a wired keyboard (whilst keeping the MX700).

Already tried moving the base station around my work area and putting in some brand-new Duracell Ultra M3's on the kb (although I didn't actually think replacing batteries would have any effect). Nothing changed...

Also, I've tried switching from the USB ports to the PS/2 adapters (for both devices). Also had no effect on keyboard lag.

Hum, I have an MX Duo setup on my PC, and thuogh I haven't used it in a while (since getting this powerbook for school), I can tell you that I never experienced lag with either component. My advise would be to return it and get another unit, as that doesn't sound typical. The keyboard is acually quite nice and has a decent wireless range. Maybe it's too close to your base station?

my keyboard never lags. Try switching the channel the keyboard uses. Press the "connect" button on the bottom. You should get a window telling you the device's channel changed.
