MX700 Connection Question

I just got a Logitech MX700 and I was wondering if it makes a difference whether I use PS/2 over USB? Any decrease in accuracy, etc in using the PS/2 port? What connection are you guys using for it?

Connecting to a PS/2. I see no difference when connecting with PS/2 or USB. I read awhile back that connecting to ps/2 give u better rates.

No matters...BTA I'm not a Gamer...have mines in the USB Port cause my PS2 has 1 nother Mouse

Thanks for your input. I'll be using USB. Here's what I found:

From Logitech MX700 FAQ:
"Fast RF technology allows for a report rate of 125 reports per second, which is equivalent to the USB bandwidth. Previous Logitech cordless mice and trackballs used 50 reports per second. Using Fast RF enables smoother and faster tracking than ever experienced with any cordless mouse."

I'm not sure what the bandwidth is for the ps/2 port but I don't think its as high as USB. If anyone knows let me know.

If memory serves me right, then using USB over PS/2, is actually a step back for mice. PS/2 has a higher refresh rate than USB.
Personally, i`d say use the USB port, i do. If the MX700 cant do over the max for USB, then why move to PS/2 ? Theres no way that the rate can be increased.
People will argue that the USB port uses more CPU time than PS/2, but with todays CPUs, the performance loss isnt noticable. your talking about 0.00001 of a frame, in games.
