MX518 worth the extra 10 bucks?

Im looking to buy a new mouse. I currently have an 800dpi i-rocks mouse that was free after MIR. Its fast enough for my gaming needs but the ergonomics of the mouse are wierd. It is uncomfortable holding it so i want something that shapes into the grooves of my hands like the MX510 or MX518. Anyways as i mentioned before 800 dpi is fast enough for me and the MX510 boosts that already which i feel would fit my needs perfectly but for 10 dollars more i can get the MX518 and get double the precision. however i dont think i need that much sensitivity. So which one should i go with? Has someone here shared my same experience upgrading from 800dpi to 1600dpi, is it too much?
 
I read some mx310 reviews and most say its a superb mouse, i would purchase it if the size fo the mouse were bigger. I dont have monster hands but bigger than average and ive held this mouse at office depot once. I think i might just go with the mx510 over the 518 because sometimes i already feel 800dpi is too much.
 
Im think im gonna order the MX510 friday when monarch has their sale. And yah 2000 dpi is unreasonable i heard if you even bump your desk the mouse will detect it.

Your new MX510 will also detect a bump to your desk...even a 400 dpi mouse will also.
 
MX510<MX518<G5

i own all three, they just get better and better, and yes each upgrade is worth the $$ 🙂 especially if ur playing fps.
 
i have the G5, and its ok (i acutally like the mx310 or whatever better) but i cant seem to get my "extra" scroll buttons to function in BF2. Does anyone know how to get these two "left and right" scroll buttons to function in a game?
