MX510 and Mouse Bungee

I'm looking for a new mouse and I am considering the MX510, mainly for its performance and looks. The only thing I don't like is the cord, the way my desk is set up, it will definitely be a problem. I don't want to deal with the extra charging base, batteries, and weight of the mx700.

But to get to the point, I came across this thing called the Mouse Bungee, supposedly THE John Carmack uses it:

I googled it and every review I found is positive, but the Bungee is only for sale at a few online stores and from the official website, thus I can't really find any user reviews.
Has anyone actually seen or used the Mouse Bungee? If so, what do you think of it?

I have MX510 and got this pad for it.

It has a clip that holds the cord. The cord never gets stuck to anything anymore.

I`ve been using a mouse bungee for a few years now,bottom line its excellent and does make a difference,well worth the money IMHO.

If you are into gaming then a mouse bungee and also teflon feet for your mouse on a decent mouse pad makes a big difference.

I have rolled up and taped up some of my MX510 cord to the back of my desk. Shortens the length and keeps it clean
