hello all, im having a bit of problem with my mx500. my mouse settings (particularly the mouse acceleration) do not carry over to counter strike. i installed mw9791 driver and it still doesnt work. i even used mouse accleration fix (which worked perfectly fine b4).
i had:
1. an ie4 (worked perfectly) then it broke so
2. i went back to mx500 (worked perfectly also) which ironically failed, too
3. so i went and got a NEW ie4 but decided i like mx500 better
4. so i went back to NEW mx500 (noticed it was saying mouhid.sys file was missing but i did find it in systems file though it wasnt ?WHSP? certifeid)
after that i'm having all kidns of problems. i'm pretty sure in between switching mouses, i uninstalled old and reinstalled new and stuff like dat.
i also took someone;s advice and did
"check the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lmouflt2\Parameters\<insert mouse name>\0000 key with Regedit and that "Resolution" has a value of 8. This dictates the DPI for the controller IIRC."
mine was at 0.
