mx500 and mx700 problems

i get random repostitioning of my cursor while using either one of these mice.....i'm using a func 1030 mousing surface......detailed specs are in sig....any help?.....mx500 is hooked up usb and mx700 is ps/2

Are they both hooked up to the same computer ?
