MX 900 (as part of the Bluetooth diNovo keyboard set) won't charge?

I've always had to wiggle the thing around to get it to charge (flashing green light). Awhile ago, it started blinking red, even when it should have been charging (which is hard to tell, because as I mentioned, it's hard to know when it's "seated" correctly). I took the batteries out and swapped their positions (i.e. put the left one in the right slot, and vice versa). That seemed to fix it.

This time, though, it's just red blinkly light, no matter what I do (also, the laser for the mouse is 'activated" when it's in the charging station, which obviously it shouldn't be.

Any idea how to fix this? New batteries? Do I have to get them from Logitech, or are there others people recommend? (It's 1800 mAmp, I think, nickel hydride, but I'll have to check on that).

Thanks SO much. I miss using my computer!

Sound like some solder has come loose.

If you can't shake it around, try wiggling wires, and if that doesn't work - a swift clap upside the head might do it.
Otherwise - you have to open it up and have a loooook for anything looooose.

Logitech will probably just send you a brand new current gen mouse

Ugh. I emailed them last Friday, no response. I want to call, but I've already been on hold for 15 and 7 minutes the two times I've tried and I don't want to waste my anytime minutes doing that. Guess I gotta call from work.

Blah. I just want to know if I need new batteries or what.
