MX 1000...

So far i love this mouse, but the damn side-to-side wheel scrolling doesnt work. I have that craptastic logitech app installed and there isnt even an option for it. Anyone have any ideas how to enable this?

In the setpoint program, it should be the buttons 9 and 10.

I dont have the MX1000, but the MX700 (I think). I had the same issue as you but never figured it out. I reinstalled XP, forgot to reinstall the logitech software and it worked fine. Try uninstalling the logitech software.

It doesnt show up. The set point app only has 8 buttons to tweak. I guess thats what my topic summary bashes logitech. Maybe i will just remove that stuupid app?

Same problem here. Mine also had the pointer jumping problem as well.

This is what your Settings page *should* look like. If not, check what drivers you're running. My control center and driver versions are 2.31.546.

Biggest thing. If you had a Logitech mouse installed previously with the same logitech drivers you have now, make SURE that the MX1000 is selected in the pulldown box.
