MX 1000 vs Razor Diamondback

I'm into gaming a lot, and I have the MX 1000 Laser Mouse. It's really starting to hack me off because it will just randomly quit working. I'm about to throw it out the window. But, I decided that I'd best not waste my money. So, should I sell the MX 1000 and buy a Razor Diamondback? If anybody has any suggestions, they would be much appreciated.

You'll have to try it before making a decision. I rarely return purchases, but I did return my MX 1000 mouse after I couldn't stand its heavy weight and fluid/laggy imprecise mouse movement.
