Avexir memory are spotty... be warned... purchased avexir brand before... out of 10, 3-4 were fine. I think it has mainly to do with compatibility...

I had one of six bad. First memory I ever sent back. Windows wouldn't even boot off the bad stick. They replaced it no problem, but run memtest86 just to be sure.
 
I think the 4gb 2x2 deal they sold had way more bad sticks. Donno why but all the Mwave sites reviews are pretty good for the 8gb 4x4 deal.
 
I do not think this is a hot deal. Yes good price but better brands on the egg have been selling for this price quite a bit lately.

as others have mentioned this ram is not that good. Doesn't oc for s**t either. better be preppared to run at stock or lower.

good luck to those that jumped on this deal. I will stick to the better known brands
