PPCs were kinda silly in MW2 tbh. Giant orbs of electricity slowly making their way towards their target. But that also made them ominous.

While the game was relatively inferior, MechWarrior 4 did a better, arguably ideal job with the PPC. It also did a better job with energy weapons in general, as they were effectively instantaneous in terms of how they fired, and did not resemble a projectile like in MechWarrior 2 (the PCC was a slight exception to this, as it is, to my understanding, firing a sort of electrically-charged plasma at its target).

Where can I pick up Mech Warrior 2 (PC) for a good deal so I can join?

Last time I played that game was on my Power MAC 6100... be nice because I may still be rusty...
 
Guys, I'm sorry, but he's going out of his way to make eceptions based on maturity level, and sadly many of you are not taking that seriously.
 
Found my old Mechwarrior 2 floppies and a usb 3.5" drive. In for a huge Mechwarrior 2 clan.


Edit: Dont' know if my rig is up to it though.

Sys req: DOS: 486, 8 MB RAM, 2X CD-ROM drive
Windows: Pentium 90 MHz, 12 MB RAM, 4X CD-ROM drive

I always preferred MW4 over MW2. I guess MW4 feels like the physics were more hashed out. But, I think I could dig out my old Performa 6100CD and get some MW2 playing in 🙂
