After a little troubleshooting I have found that it is the MVPS HOSTS file that is blocking the NewEgg redirects. What do I need to whitelist so that the links work?

I'm afraid I don't quite know what the MVPS HOSTS file is, so I'm not sure I can offer much help here.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834127915

The hosts a typical Newegg redirect will go through (in order):

redirect.anandtech.com (captures the URL so AT's servers can find out where it needs to go and what needs to be added to get the commission)
tkqlhce.com (Commission Junction, the commission service AT uses)
apmebf.com (Commission Junction cookie service?)
emjcd.com (Commission Junction outbound?)
newegg.com

A Hosts file can redirect certain sites, ads, cookies, etc. back to your computer instead of connecting to their servers.

MVPS HOSTS: http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm

Thanks for the list of URL's that you posted. I checked the Hosts file and three of them are in the list. Hopefully the links will work once I whitelist the URLs.

Cheers

MVPS hosts is a HOST file based anti-malware blacklist.
It also pretty much blocks every redirecting service, adware, spyware, and malicious http servers.
And yes... by default tha tincludes AT's referral click-throughs.

It also blocks AT's ad servers, apparently. That's not anti-malware, that's just anti-advertising at that point (and shame on you :( ).
