mutual fund help

i got some shares in MFS low cap/a total RA... i went to their website.. and i couldn't find their low cap profile.. also what exactly is a low cap mutual fund?? i'd appreciate any help.. i haven't really gotten into investing yet.. i'm still in college..

It means that the fund is invested in smaller - low market capitalization - companies. Market cap is the total value of the company: Number of shares outstanding x value of each share. Not a good place to be the last couple years unless the fund manager is a wizard.
