Mutliplyer and Ratio settings for XP 1700+?

I should use 5.5 x 266 right? On A soyo dragon + mobo...... that yeilds 1463, but the cpu is supposed to be 1470 is that close enough? are these locked? can i OC 'em?

XP1700+ multiplier is locked at 11, unless you've unlocked it or had it unlocked.

In that case (locked multiplier of 11), setting BIOS multiplier factor to any other factor than 11 will probably result in BIOS default operation at FSB speed of 100MHz for cpu speed of 1100MHz - or just failure to boot.

Hope this helps!

Okay, i see where i was off......i was using 266 in my calculation as bus speed, divide that by two, and then multiply what i had for my multiplyer by two, it works out, thanks a bunch, makes sense now
