Just wanted to make a thread for all the Ford Mustang lovers out there on the anandtech forums. Here is mine:

2005 V6 vert, bought it back in January with 12k miles, now has around 18k on it. Only mod I did was put new rims on it and a K&N CAI. Great car, I love the new mustangs.

Bought a 1966 Coupe with a 289 / 4-speed automatic about a month ago (time flies...). It's in pretty good shape considering the $2800 price tag.

Right now, it badly needs new floorboards, inner fender on the passenger side, some electrical work, ignition and locks (not sure if they're stuck or shot), sanding, and paint. Just got the thing running tonight, and it sounds amazing.

The guy I bought it from put in a brand new carbeurator, solenoid, fuel pump, distributor cap and rotor, and plug wires. 80k miles, and everything is original. The carpet needs to be replaced, but the seats are like new.

The pictures were taken on a camera phone, so excuse the quality. Keep in mind - the missing paint chips and uncut grass adds horsepower.

1967 coupe. 289, built with a bunch of goodies.
Most embarrassing story with this is leaving a shop towel on the lifter valley while installing the heads. Buttoned it all up, only to realize there was a towel sticking out of the intake manifold and cylinder head.

Quick crappy pics, and hell no, the mess isn't from that car.

Kenne Bell 2.8H or TT coming soon... haven't decided yet.

VT 324 stroker though is something I'm fixated on either way though. I'm thinking the turbo will have me going through less tires and axles...

Nah, make em use a Ford SVT Manley H beam rod so it has to go in whole. The Honda rods will be easy and painless being in multiple pieces *snicker*

I have a 99 Mustang GT. It's black with gray interior. Tinted windows, Alpine head unit, 18x9 and 18x10 Saleen Replica Hypercoated wheels, Eibach Pro Plus suspension kit, Hawk HPS brake pads, and of course the standard K&N filter. I'll post some pics later, I don't have access to them from work.
