LMFAO.That thread has 61,000 views. That entire forum has 70,800 posts. Our top 2 posters have a greater postcount than that entire forum. 1320's max users online at one time before this was 44 (according to one of their stats guys) We just set the record at 1111, which is more than their entire registered base! Could you imagine if AT logged in at once? that would be like 90,000 users! AMP = Owned. I would really hate to be them. Go AT Effect!

AT Effect has been activated. There are currently 1252 people viewing their forums, up from a 2 year max of 44. They only have 820 registered users TOTAL. LMFAO.

On the other hand, good word of mouth from proper business practices and decent treatment of your customers is the best form of advertising, it's free and lasts forever.

Wasn't that Mark's Mitsubishi in AZ somewhere too? And that other one... damn... The viper shop where the guy took his car in and they took a bunch of parts off his car for another client and then replaced them with POS parts. Guy ended up not having his viper for over a year or something.

I DIDN'T COME HERE TO POINT FINGERS OR CALL NAMES I JUST WANT PEOPLE TO NO THAT THERE ARE 2 SIDES TO EVERY STORY. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW VIPERKILLER GOT SCREWED BY AMP? HE BROUGHT HIS CAR IN AND I PULLED THE MOTOR INSTALLED A SET OF PORTED HEADS, CUSTOM CAMS, NEW DSS SHORT BLOCK. I HAVE TOLD DAVE SORRY FOR TAKING 5 MOS OR WHATEVER, IT TOOK ALONG TIME TO GET THE HEADS, PLUS WE ARE ALWAYS REALY BUISY. STARTED THE MOTOR IT RAN FINE FOR AN HOUR IN THE SHOP TOOK AROUND THE BLOCK IT STARTED TO MAKE NOISE BRUOGHT IT BACK IN TOLD DAVE I WOULD HAVE TO CHECK IT OUT. PULLED MOTOR OUT DISASSEMBLED FOUND DEBRIS IN 5 CYLINDERS. THIS IS WERE IT GETS FUNNY BEING CALLED CROOKS, THE PISTONS HAD MARKS ON THE TOPS, NOTHING ON THE RING LANDS, CYL WALLS, ECT. THE HEADS HAD THE SAMETHING. IF I OR TOM WANTED TO RIP VIPERKILLER OFF, I COULD OF REMOVED THE DEBRIS, SMOOTHED THE PISTONS AND HEADS WITH A 3M PAD, AND SLAPED IT BACK TOGETHER. THE MOTOR WOULD OF RUN FINE, NOT SMOKED ECT. IF I HAD DONE THAT THE MOTOR WOULD OF HAD HOT SPOTS WERE THE DAMAGE WAS, CAUSING DETONATION WICH UNDER A HARD LOAD MAY HAVE BLOWN THE MOTOR UP. WHEN IT DID IT PROBABLY WOULD HAVE COVED UP THE SMALL PITS IN THE PISTON BY CAUSE BIG PITS IN THE PISTONS, I HAVE TOLD DAVE THIS. I SHOWED TOM THE DAMAGE AND HE CALLED DAVE AND HAD HIM COME SEE THE MOTOR, RIGHT AWAY THE FINGER WAS POINTED AT AMP AS THE CAUSE, EVEN THOUGH THE MATERIAL IN THE MOTOR LOOKED LIKE SMALL PEICES OF A SNAP RING OF SOME SORT. I TOLD TOM TO SEND THE BLOWER IN AND HAVE IT CHECKED BECAUSE THAT WAS THE ONLY PLACE I COULD THINK OF IT CAME FROM, TOM DID (WE PAID THE SHIPPING). WE GOT THE BLOWER BACK AND WERE TOLD NOTTHING WAS WRONG, BUT THEY REPLACE THE IMPELLER AND BEARING FOR FREE (????). WE COULDN'T SAY FOR SURE IT WAS THE BLOWER, SO TOM HAD DSS OVERNITE A SET OF PISTON (WICH HE PAID FOR), SENT THE MOTOR TO THE MACHINE SHOP, HAD THE PISTONS BALANCE AND THE SHORT BLOCK REASSEMBLED ASAP(WICH HE ALSO PAID FOR). IN THE MEAN TIME A LOT OF STUFF WAS BEING SAID ON THE INTERNET , SO TOM SAID WE WOULDN'T TRY TO FIGURE OUT WHO WAS AT FALT JUST PAY FOR THE PARTS AND MACHINE WORK AND HAVE DAVE COME GET HIS CAR BECAUSE OF THE BAD MOUTHING. SO AMP HAD DAVE'S BLOWER CHECKED, PAID FOR THE PISTONS,MACHINE WORK ECT, TOOK ALL THE LABOR HAVING TO DO WITH THE MOTOR OFF HIS BILL, CHARGED HIM ONLY FOR THE HEADS,CHROME VAVLE COVERS, CUSTOM CAMS, DUAL DISC CLUTCH/FLYWHEEL ASSEMBLY,CLUTCH CABLE KIT ECT , AFTER ALL IS SAID AND DONE ATE UP ALL BUT $10 OF THE MONEY HE PAID, AND THAT WAS REFUNDED TO HIS CREDIT CARD, HE HAS ALL THE RECIEPTS BUT HE SAYS AMP RIPPED HIM OFF. I HOPE THIS SIDE OF THE STORY MAKES THE FORUM, CAUSE I HAVE SPENT ALOT OF MY OWN TIME TRY TO SHED SOME LIGHT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY. those are wear parts so i would imagine that they always replace them when they have them apart. kinda like how most people replace there oil pumps if they have the lower end open, they may not need it now but its good practice.
 
Look on page 37 of that thread, there's a reply by the guy who actually worked on the car. Two sides to every story, it seems.
 
Page 37? it is on page 78 now. Up to 217,000 views and 1096 posts in that thread. That single thread gets more traffic then the rest of the site combined.
