Mustang Computer Chips?

I have a 1999 Mustang V6. I read about these computer chips for $200, where you stick em in the onboard compute and supposedly it gives you like 23 extra horsepowers, potential better gas economy, and removes the speed cap (not that important). I was tempted to purchase one but I found a site that claims that when he installed the chip it caused $800 in damage and infact it voided the car's warranty (The diablo sports site claims it doesn't). Does anyone have any experience with this or have have any recommendations? Thanks


I'm interested in getting the diablosport diablochip. If anyone has any experience or inputs on this, it would be great

i know alot of ppl that have chipped their cars. no problems that i've heard of. but then again most of them chip it with other mods on their cars. and some even got custom chips. which one are you looking at for the stang?
