Most successful financially? Will Smith.. Best actor of the bunch.. Eminem..Lots of critics said that he deserved an oscar nomination for 8mile.. Worst? All of those rappers that feel that acting is barking out your lines like a pittbull that's mad at the world for being neutered (ja rule, dmx, etc. etc.).. Tupac was actually very good in his later work (gridlock'd).. Also, Mary Mark is very good playing the confused, naive young guy (PERFECT in boogie nights) but SUCKS at playing the romantic lead/action hero..He just has a pretty weak presence in my opinion.. Ice Cube is hit or miss.. He sometimes does the pissed off pit bull acting style but his quieter moments are actually pretty well acted (was great in barber shop and three kings).

I vote for Cube. Will Smith may be more successfull, but Cube is a better actor and better rapper. Smith just plays the same character in all of his movies (although I didn't see Ali yet, so I should reserve judgement).

I'm going to have to go with freedomsbeat212 on this one. Tupac would have blown them all away given the chance (i.e. not dying). I doubt he'd have the "Mass Appeal" that Will Smith does, but that doesn't make Smith better.
