Some feckwit just sent out a baby shower invite for some woman I've never heard of to MY ENTIRE DIVISION here at the CDC. 😕

Do I flame her for being an utter dumbass, or just let the higher-ups handle things? I'm sorry, but that is just totally inappropriate; baby showers involve spending money, so you don't just shoot an email to a thousand people you don't know. Sheesh. :roll:

let it go... i get 10 of those a day for retirements, showers, etc. :roll:

we eventually just setup a bbs for ppl to look at the stuff since the 1 to 3mb mass emails were killing our servers.
 
Say you're bringing about 50 people with you and to make sure there's plenty of liquor and hookers.

i hate SHOWERS! i hate baby showers, bridal showers, i got a new hairstyle shower, i shot the neighbor shower, i hate them all!

 
In my postition I'm expected to "coach" yet every time I nudge someone for doing something stupid like this they get all offended and call their manager.

Uh, no. "NCHSTP/DSTD All" is the first thing in the email. You'd have to specifically find and add that in the CDC address book. Stupid biotch.

In that case, send her an email saying that while you unfortunately will not be able to attend, you would like to send a gift, and so you would like to get the address.

Once you have the address, send a big cardboard box with a lot of foam peanuts and a metal coat hanger at the bottom.
