Seriously though, why would you buy a $700 telecaster when you clearly have enough money for the $3200 Paul Reed Smith McCarty Hollowbody with Piezo system????

I am about 1/36 the way thru saving for it, and I mention it to my wife at least once a week (on the off chance she'll get it as a gift - yeah right). I have played many many guitars in my life, and a fine example of the PRS HB was like the voice of God.

Ugh...I wouldn't even think of spending that much unless I was gigging again.

And you don't doa Fender with a Marshall! That just isn't done!

Really. A Telecaster is a classic guitar with a classic sound (FYI- The solo to Stairway to Heaven was recorded on a Telecaster ). ESP's have those hot pickups and heavy frets that are favored by people in the metal scene.

Yeah, definitely. My main interest in this guitar is it's wider thin neck and floyd rose tremolo.
