After weeks of searching...i finally found a roommate for next year at the apartments on campus. We talked about who else we could possible get to live with us...and she found two other girls last night. I had an apointment at the health center so I couldn't make it to the housing office to sign up for apartments....and she said that she would get there by 4 (housing closes at 4:30) to sign us up. Well...she didn't get there at 4...and we're not getting an apartment. I'm so pissed off b/c I've been trying for the past hour to reach her and she won't answer her phone..nothing. GRRRRRRRRRRRR. >_______< :|

Now I don't know if I'll be able to have ANY housing next year. I might be able to sign back into the room i'm in now...maybe. Sigh....


sorry all...had to rant.
 
It really sucks when you learn you can't depend on someone (in particular).

Sorry...hope you find a place. 🙁
 
Update: She just imed me....and said that she had called housing earlier and they were gonna let her sign up tomorrow. Well..she better hope they're not just gonna screw her over because Rutgers housing has been known to do that.

At least now i KNOW something....still pretty angry tho.

Although they go hand in hand, this sounds more like trustworthiness and dependability than respectability to me.

You trusted her and relied on her to get you all a place. She said she would be there at a certain time. She was not. She broke that trust and let you down.
 
wat are you worried about ?

there are so many apartments around the New Brunswick area..

You can most definitely find a place off campus if there is no space in the dorms.
