Must I print out my own address label when shipping UPS or FedEx, or do the shipping locations do that?

I'm taking a box to a place like Mailboxes Etc soon, to be shipped either FedEx or UPS - do I need to attach a shipping label here (like one I'd make in Word or something like that), or do I just give them the info there and they print out a label there?
I ship almost everything via Priority Mail - it's been a long time since I've shipped with another carrier, but this is a computer case, so it's a bit heavy for Priority.

How about FedEx? Do the FedEx staffed centers print the shipping labels for you, you print them yourself or just use write on them on the box with permanent markers?

I have shipped from a staples (I believe) and I just gave them the info. and they printed out the labels.

I am sure a place like mailboxes, ETC. would be able to do everything there.

Oh yeah, forgot about this thread. Oops.
I just took the package to the place, along with the address it was going to written on a piece of paper; can't remember what the place was called - something rather generic, like Shipping Express, or Shipping Center, like that. She just put the box on the scale, got my address and contact info, typed in the destination address, and gave me the options for cheapest shipping. She printed the label, stuck it on the box, and it was good to go.
