As a former Orioles fan (I just couldnt stand Peter Angelos anymore), the Orioles deserve what they got (at least Peter Angelos did). When is he gonna learn how to be a decent owner? It was all downhill after Davey Johnson was fired.

The Yankees did overpay though, but it just solidifies their team, they just have a phenominal starting pitching staff.

And Mussina didnt sell out, dont blame him, blame Angelos. If he had just gotten him signed earlier like Mussina had asked for, they would have gotten him for life at a lot lower price than the Yankees did. Thats what happens when you show your best player that you dont care if he stays or goes.
