believing the universe created itself out of nothing contrary to the laws of thermodynamics and all the laws that this universe obeys is a blind religion.

Believe whatever you want, so long as you come to that decision of your own volition rather than having it shoved down your throat from birth.

Cute, however, how you christers ignore or even fight against science... but when one of its laws supports your fairy tale, no matter how tenuous the link, you're the first ones to harp on it ^_^

That's because even those the Right calls Liberals really aren't. Let the Muslims try to take up arms here and those so called Liberals will be shoulder to shoulder with the most whacked out Tea Bagger going after them.

Absolutely true.

OTOH, we seem to really like drama so until someone else pisses us off bad enough to make that happen, we will continue to fight amongst ourselves (at least in a relatively civil manner).

Have they done any episodes where muslims actually WERE terrorists?

Absolutely. Imaginationland was in fact Muslims that attacked. The specifically link them to Al Qaeda. In the Family Guy episode, they link to Muslim videos threatening to attack America if Family Guy shows an image of Muhammad. The conclusion of the 9/11 conspiracy theory episode was that everyone is morons for thinking it was a conspiracy, it was (I quote) "a bunch of pissed off Muslims".

South Park has no agenda. They will rip on whomever they want, whenever they want. They've insulted Catholics, Mormons, Muslims, scientology, whites, blacks, Mexicans, China, Japan, Clinton (both Bill and Hillary), Gore, Bush, Rob Reiner, Obama, McCain, etc......

Hell, the whole basis of this episode isn't just about Muslims, its about EVERY celebrity they've ever insulted. Its an extensive list.

Hopefully South Park takes this as far as it can. Jewish Kyle has been attacked since the first episode and Jesus has been a character since the first season. It's only fair to show Muhammad a thousand times over.

Only if it's actually funny/relevant. Showing him just to show him would serve no purpose.

Though if they did a "Where's Muhammed?" thing in every episode ala "Where's Waldo", that could be amusing.

Has that been a big problem here? I tend to think that they probably face more violence due to their religious beliefs than we due to those beliefs.

When we have had to deal with their violence, we reacted appropriately, we went after them, overthrew the government that was protecting them and tried to kill as many of them as possible.

Exactly - we did a favor in liberating those uncivilized 3rd world bastards.

USA being the abusive boyfriend doesn't give Muslims the right to act like the crazy girlfriend.

Maybe that could be part of the show - tell Muslim leaders they are acting like women. They hate women almost as much as they hate when people draw Muhammad!

good luck enforcing morality without a Creator. The universe does not care who lives and who dies. Society determining morals "for the better of society" is illogical and subjective. It does not matter whether society lives or dies if there is no God. At the end of the day, we all die, and nothing matters.

Guess what, morality is illogical and subjective. Especially so when the invisible bearded man in the sky tells you to blow up your neighbors for not believing in him.

Didn't know people still watched south park. Last thing I remember seeing was something about people with butts for faces...

Oh well, if you're going to bring crude jokes to school, there better enough for the whole class!

Carry on.

Amazing how so many people form different religions all have 1 thing in common.
The curse of simple or hasty generalization. You all do realize you are no different from the fundamental muslim nutcases ?

You all do realize that liberal and more democratic thinking (read modern western thinking) is suppressed in these islamic countries ? You do realize that the fundamental religious groups in such countries are no different then the fundamental jews or fundamental christians ? These people all preach destruction. The religion they boast to stand for is the only one but do not forget, you need these nutcases or god will not love you. That is always the same. Who wants the power, the control ?

A few of your hasty generalizations :

Jews just want to take all the money and are only victims.

Muslims just want to kill everybody.

Christians just want to fuck children.

USA just want all the oil and the gold.

Europe just want to turn the whole world in a communism.

Atheists go into slashing insane rage mode whenever someone mentions a religion.

Let's go on:

The Chinese only want to eat cats and eat grinded tiger dick.

The Japanese only want to bow and watch manga.

The English only want to drink tea and play cricket and mention the phrase " I say" as much as possible.

The Dutch only want to smoke weed and wear wooden shoes.

All Americans are fat, stupid, only want to drink or use coke and watch porn all day.

The French only want to smoke cigarettes and carry a loaf of bread under the armpit while wearing a funny hat.

The Russians only drink vodka and only think of the destruction of Americans.

All Italians are maffia and only care about how to hit on the girl next door and soccer.

All of Brazil only wants to look good all day and fuck everything they see.

All of Belgium only eats fries and drink beer.

All of Iceland just want to hump a vulcano.

All of Germany just want to raise their right arms for no particular reason...

You get my point ?

Touché, but maybe not...

If i would take someone who is a fundamental atheist and who preaches destruction of those who believe in god, would it not be another religion...

Religion can be used for good or for wrong. Religion is a tool.

Stereotypes, the right word. And it is all wrong. Stereotyping or prejudice, should always be suppressed.

Remember this line :

" Do not think, just join. Do not think together, just copy..."

Afcourse this was the opposite of what i really meant. Which is :

Think, do not just join. Think together, do not just copy...

No, to help uneducated people advance. But any tool can be abused. As is religion no more then a tool. In very very past times religion was used by enlightened people to educate the un-enlightened people and to give them a social structure . Then the power hungry idiots among man came and put foolish thoughts in man. Not later, the enlightened ones where seen as evil and portrayed as evil. Science, intellect and deduction where gone and exterminated along man as to not harm the base of power created by the power hungry. Only fear still existed and does till this day. Do not blame a tool for the foolishness of it's abusers.

Really, so which creator's morals should we follow then? Christians can't even decide amongst themselves how to interpret the bible, so it's ridiculous to propose the idea that absolute morals even exist. Humans interpret the morals in the bible and other religious texts, there is no absolute moral handed down to us.

Murder, rape, and theft are the three biggies, and they are covered by pretty much all of them.

Species care about their own survival and are predisposed towards behaviors to meet that end.

All of our cousins in the animal kingdom have social structures similar to ours and yet have no concept of morality, spaghetti monsters, or fables. When someone in their group deviates from the accepted behavior there are consequences, not because of Yahweh but because it's a survival mechanism.
