RT: Sharia controlled zone' in Germany
Although the Sharia guidance to refrain from drinking alcohol or taking drugs might not be of any harm in itself, German authorities fear that the Salafists have also been recruiting young men to join the Islamic State and other militant groups, encouraging them to travel to Syria or Iraq in order to do so.

Officials in North Rhein-Westphalia say that approximately 1,800 people are part of the Salafist scene in the area, with ten percent of the members considered to be violent extremists.

Radicalized Ex-German Soldiers in Iraq
According to security sources in Berlin, around 20 former members of Germany's Bundeswehr, as its military is known, have traveled to Syria and Iraq, apparently with the intention of joining Islamist extremist groups there. They join an estimated 400 other German jihadists who have already traveled to the region. Most of those, however, had no previous military experience, making the 20 trained Bundeswehr soldiers particularly valuable.

MAD, the German military's intelligence service, sees Islamism as a growing problem within Germany's military...

Over the weekend, Hans-Georg Maassen, head of the Office of the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), Germany's domestic intelligence agency, voiced concerns that the flow of Islamists from Germany to Syria and Iraq will continue. He said that some younger radicalized Muslims are attracted to IS in particular because of the group's brutality. "The Islamic State is, so to speak, the 'in' thing within the scene," Maassen said. It is "much more attractive than Jabhat al-Nusrah, the al-Qaida offshoot in Syria. What attracts people is its high degree of brutality, the radicalism and the rigor."

A few more data points...

So we have local, state and federal statutes that supersede the former. These statutes allow us freedoms, rules of behavior and penalties for violating said rules. In that regard, I think we're pretty much covered against localized or regional "takeovers" as described in/by the OP. Same with Germany I would think.

Where nationwide statutes are concerned though, is where I think we need to be suspiciously alert for, such that a minority can dictate terms to the majority, where the needs of an influential few or "The One" will outweigh the needs of the many.

Theocratic, plutocratic or oligarchic, take your pick. Any one will, in essence, rip the fabric of our Republic apart, or at the least exploit the very laws and freedoms guaranteed us so as to turn it against those these laws were originally meant to protect. That ironic circumstance is, IMO, currently in play right here at home.

Wonder who would be upset with the above and look to pass some sort of legislation against it?:whiste:

Women?

And if anyone wants to know what the problem with Sharia in Europe is , don't bother with any right wing leaning sources since the phony apologetic liberals will immediately discredit them in their minds but rather pay attention to this gay liberal human rights activist Johann Hari and what he has to say.

Am I the phony apologetic liberal?
Are these patrol guys, right or left leaning?

Population of Germany is 82 million.

There are 4 million Muslims in Germany.

Clearly a nation in danger of being 'overrun by the Muslim hordes'.

Pretty sure JediYoda has a thing for Jesus.
From what I understand most Jews consider him a Gentile
He is probably considered an extremist in Israel

I would fully expect ISIS aircraft carriers off the shore of the US any day now if I only read ATPN

In Canada it's a whole 3% of the population and look at the way they have forced women to dress in Winnipeg now.

Don't you know, there is always some "other" who is an existential threat to "us". For all these years, it was The Red. Now it is some one else. In time, there will be some one else still. It's a big wide world

the orthodox police using social pressure and threats to maintain modesty. hell there's even segregation between men and women in buses and public. some patrol against mannequins for fear they may be arousing men and boys. they even beat up women for dressing immodestly. this is happening in America, folks. it just doesn't have a name like 'sharia law' attached to it.

I do have a problem with the massacre of any race of people!

What I do not have a problem with is Israel defending it`s population!

If by massacre you are claiming that Hamas ought to take better care of the people it represents then I agree with you!!

But this is a different group that does not fit in with our narrative of the Scary Monster these days. So this is OK and that is why you don't hear much about it.

Now if this was the Scary Monster group, the world would be coming to an end

Muslims patrolling parts of Germany with "Sharia police" emblazoned in English? I smell a punking. Call me when they say "Scharia polizei".

This! Look at the picture they appear to be goofing around. I'm not German but god these stories drive me nuts. Does anyone really believe that Europe go Islam?

You should come to N'awlins for just about any big event and see the asshole Christians with their big fuck off cross and insanely loud megaphones screaming at people that they are going to hell and telling people that they must live their lives like their damn book says (at least the specific parts that they select).

Oh yeah, last year a few got arrested for assaulting a guy that disagreed with them so it sounds rather equivalent.
