MusicMatch rips .wavs better for me than any other program. Why?

I have some beat up CDs.. enough that EAC, CDEX, and maybe another will NOT make an mp3 without pops in them. Understandable if you saw the bottom of the disc.

But for whatever reason, using Musicmatch Jukebox allows me to rip the files to wavs and then I encode them with lame and they sound perfect. Does MMJB have better error correction than the other programs or what?

It's a well known fact that EAC is not good for badly damaged CDs. Feurio is among the best for damaged discs, though.
