I saw some young kids cover a bunch of stuff this weekend. SOme did an amazing job, and others just blew. It made me wonder if certain songs are really difficult to make sound right, SUltans of Swing, for example is proabbly one thing to play, and another to actually make sound pretty good.

that one is easy... Defining a hard song to cover would really depend on the style of music the band normally plays.

Every second local rock band out here decides that they are good enough to tackle Dream Theater. And even though I haven't heard much of Dream Theater, I can figure out when a song is possibly going haywire.

There's this other guy out here that thinks he is Axl Rose's love-child. I imagine it is very easy for a guy trying too hard to sound like Axl and screwing things up. And some of Guns N' Roses' songs are pretty hard.
