Alto sax for middle school and up to my sophomore year of High School. I tried the marching band at my school for sophomore year. I did it for the year but it wasn't for me. I guess you could say it took the "fun" out of playing the sax. After i quit playing the alo sax, i focused on school work and getting a job before college.
