Try "The Walkmen." They're not terribly 'new' but I just got into them and I've liked most of what I've seen.

Mindless Self Indulgence - You'll Rebel to Anything

One album that really made me go "uh.... wtf.... what???" But some songs were good. You'd have to have very specific tastes to like them, because it's half-rap, half-techno, and half-strange.

The whole album is produced perfectly. They have mastered the studio sound. They're great live as well!

I've also started listening to the Foo Fighters. Their acoustic show is awesome!

lol they are labeled under christian & gospel.. but they sound far from it
