like the different emotions it causes you to feel? also what makes us like certain kinds of music?
i wonder what it is that actually causes that? i guess it will be one of those mysteries of life that no one will ever be able to fully understand.
 
I was listening to Paper Plane by Status Quo, then I turned it off as I got into a lecture, forgot I had been listening to it, and then had the urge to make a paper plane out of my handout :Q
 
Dude music can take you to the most incredible places. If you get passed the I want to look cool music and the plain ol party music and really get down to some I dunno psychedelic sh!t it can really take you places.
 
Go read some musicological texts. Or some musical cognitive science texts. It's not as big a mystery as you might think. People devote their lives to answering these questions.
