enjoy

massive attacks album mezzanine is very close to my soul. the album was released 8 years ago when i was 23 and is one of the most influential and amazing albums in modern music. it was also the peak of a great band.

if you are a music lover and not familiar with the album i highly recommend at least a few listens. i had the fortune of catching that live tour the same year in 1998 when there were 8 musicians touring and the show was unforgettable. they are currenly on a worldwide tour however it is a skeleton of the original band.

if you find the video a waste of time or do not enjoy the music keep the hate out 🙂

No hate, but it does sound a lot like Bjork.

that is probably because nellee hooper, an original member and producer of massive attack, later produced bjork. tricky was also an original member of massive attack and bjork sang on one of his solo albums years later.

so actually bjork (really only one album) sounds like massive attack 😉

Portishead is great and this video is pretty damn awesome. That fetus can really sing. It sort of reminds me of a tool video as well, which are always sweet.

bjork pwns.
not as big a fan of portishead, though.
massive attack = good... not as good as bjork, but much better than portishead.

I'd say the vocals and mood of Teardrop sounds more like Kate Bush than Bjork, but good music either way.

FYI the CD is on Napster, possibly Rhapsody as well.
