Hello,
need a little help........ I want to transfer some music from my pc to my 5th get Ipod without useing Itunes.

I have Itunes but just have alot of music on my pc (windows 7) that I would like to put on the ipod, without putting it all on itunes.

I did some searching here and on the web and see there are some third party software programs out there.....looking for the best , simple, easy way to do this.....if its possible.

Thanks,
Mike

After reading.....looks like that goes from.... ipod to computer.
Not from.....computer to ipad....but maybe I'm not seeing it right.

Haven't had it working for a while but Foobar used to be flawless with their iPod plug-in. Just select whatever music you want, right-click, and the iPod is a target.

if you've installed itunes on your pc before, then you already have the necessary drivers. if not, then sharepod will go download them for you. (you need them to be able to have Windows talk to you ipod anyway.) it's also available as portable app, in case you like that sort of thing.

sharepod can copy both ways actually. from computer to ipod and vice versa. that makes it pretty handy imo.

here's a screenshot:
