I am interested in messing around with cover songs. I want to get some complete famous songs (not low-grade karaoke vesions), with no vocals, and then record my own vocals ove them.
Do these songs exist? Where can I get them? And any advice for a home vocalist with a PC?
 
Japanese musicians usually bundle in "instrumental" versions of their songs on cds. These are great for your purpose.
