I need your help once again folks. I want to surprise my wife with a nice musical gift. She used to play piano for several years. We don;t have a piano right now and I know she misses the playing, so I want to get her a decent keyboard.

I have narrowd my choices to 2 candidates, the Yamaha DGX202 and the Casio WK1630. Both of them have 76 full size keys and touch sensitivity. Which one would you take and why???

Would you suggest another candidate??? Any ideas of the place to get the gift??? ;)

Thanks again :)

Bump, someone with piano knowledge should know about it. Which one would be closer in feeling to a real piano???

Thanks again

Hey i said Yamaha... :p ...but ive never played on a keyboard that "HAS" that same feel of a piano... it sorta has the weighting but the sound doesn't match with the weight. :) But i'm still sticking with the Yamaha... :D

I think you're better off with an upright piano rather than a keyboard. Especially for someone that used to play (supposedly a while ago) They will be more comfortable with that. Next closest thing is the Yamaha Clavinova. She'll be VERy hapy with either of these, i think.
