I forgot to listen to the original track. Now that I have, wow, that was...different. The updated recording is better, but I think you could improve your recording even more. Experiment with mic placement (on axis / off axis), mic aim (center of cone to edge of driver), mic distance from the amp (on the grill to a couple feet out) and amp volume.

I'm still learning how to use the thing, so I'm pretty proud of the progress I've made so far I'll be cleaning it up this week and see if I can get it sounding perfect by the weekend.

I can play the live version of that song perfectly, but the studio version is so fast and has so many rolling pulloffs it's hard to keep up!
