Updated- thanks for the help everyone :) Now I don't have to depend on cranky friends to record for me heh.

I forgot to listen to the original track. Now that I have, wow, that was...different. :) The updated recording is better, but I think you could improve your recording even more. Experiment with mic placement (on axis / off axis), mic aim (center of cone to edge of driver), mic distance from the amp (on the grill to a couple feet out) and amp volume.

I'm still learning how to use the thing, so I'm pretty proud of the progress I've made so far :) I'll be cleaning it up this week and see if I can get it sounding perfect by the weekend.

I can play the live version of that song perfectly, but the studio version is so fast and has so many rolling pulloffs it's hard to keep up!
