Ok I'm curious as to how much voltage can a opty 165 take until its deemed unreliable. I heard somewhere that they're reliable up to 1.55v and that anything after that is just killing the chip.

I'm curious because i want to get my overclock higher and i'm big on reliablity, my ram doesn't like the 5/6 divider. Right now i'm at the specified settings (ddr500) for my ram, but want to get some more out of it because being at 3ghz on a 3/4 divider that puts my ram at ddr500 like i just stated above. If i were to do 340x9 on a 3/4 divider, that would put my ram at ddr510 which is fine, but not really pushing it, but at the same time may be putting my cpu into jeopordy for reliablity. If not possible for any reason, is it possible to get my ram at lower timings? I've heard of people hitting a latency of 2.5 for these mushkins, but i'm really not familar with the extra timings so i'm not really sure if 2.5 is capable due to the lack of knowledge.

I have not yet tested my ram for stability, but heres a reference used from a64 v0.60 beta

Personally I think Mushkin Redline is a heap of crap. I went thru 3 different versions of it with my system and couldn't get it stable. Customer service was lacking (to say the least) and I ended up selling it on.

Good luck to ya!
