I need to rant

I like Mushkin. I've ordered from there before and have had many friends order from there before. i think they sell high quality ram at a good price. Shipping is always prompt too. Overall nothing but happy experiences.

Today at work I received a package form the fedex guy. I was elated. It was supposed to contain a stick of 256mb pc2100 ddr ram to go on my 1.4ghz athlon XP. Now imagine my disappointment when I opened the package to see in the neat little air bubble packing material....a 256 meg stick of sdram with a DDR 2100 label on it And I was looking all forward to weekend benchmarking fun...guess it will have to wait until next week.

Erm... ddr is sdram. Don't confuse sdram with sdr sdram.

Fine then, its single data rate sdram and I want double data rate sdram.

The point is, there are 3 sets of connectors at the bottom instead of 2.

Awwwwwww, feel yer pain.
I once ordered two sticks of 256 MB RDRAM for my P4 from uBid.com *paid only 57.99$ Micron GoldPlated* and they send me one stick of 512 SDRAM. I called them, yelled at them, and in two days they sent me my RDRAM, and a little box in which i shiped the SDRAM back.
So nice from them to ship the box!

I guess your right, it would have been worse if I got rimms instead of plain ol' sdram
