Mushkin is getting better! The 128 MB price is almost competitive with 256 MB modules now. I'll admit this is some nice memory (got two sticks) but my Crucial 256 I bought recently (and you can now get from Staples for $74 apparently) went right in the same system to replace them with no BIOS changes and no changes in performance or stability. What's up with those prices?
I think that Rev 3 PC150 that actually does 2-2-2 looks mighty tasty. I believe that HSDRAM is locked internally at 2-3-2 no matter what you think your BIOS is set at. I can't remember what review I caught that from but it is out there. I think my one attempt about a year ago at HSDRAM was also stuck at 2-3-2 because I was unable to overclock any more by changing that setting. Unfortunately at speeds around 133 my box would mysteriously and intermittently not even boot up with this HSDRAM. When it did it ran great. I tried to get help from TS but it took over a week to get a reply to my e-mail. By that time exchanges were not on my list of options. Hopefully Mushkin's most excellent record will not be marred by the recent marriage.
