I'm in the market for a larger drive. I have a 256 GB Samsung 840 Pro currently and need some more space. Is this a decent drive? I am mainly compiling code in different virtual machines in OSX. I can only find things about the ones that are 120/240/480.

My understanding, is that the ECO2 drives that are 60/120/240/480GB are all SandForce 2nd-gen, whereas the 512GB model is the same as the Mushkin Enhanced Reactor, which is an SMI controller, which IMHO is a better controller than SandForce.
