Anyone ever hear of Winbond or V-data chips for ram?
With ram prices going up lately, I'm seriously considering going for the Mushkin Basic Value 512 DDR.
According to the company, their latest shipments usually use V-Data or Winbond chips. There might be some in the back with Nanya chips.
Any thoughts/opinions/ideas about the quality of chips from either manufacturers? Winbond's website looks very professional, has a good technical description of their ram chips.
From Winbond's website tech specs: 256 DDR Ram - 32Mx8 4 Banks -7ns/7.5ns PC-266 CL2.5 2.5v
