It's hit or miss with the TwinMOS. The Mushkin BlueLines are assuredly UTT but may not show their true potential until some burn-in. I figure you will likely get 230-240 and 260 and beyond are the exceptions. There's a thread on this at Xtremesystems.org

mushkin blue line UTT is supposed to be good...

but you're gonna need some voltage to get some decent timings..

If you can supply 3.2V to get the tightest timings. Even with the loose timings at 2.6V you wont notice the negligible loss in performance.

I'm burning in some Mushkin Blueline UTTs right now at C2-2-2-6 @240 with 3.2V.

Cool. Do you think my PSU(330 Antec True) be stable enough to overclock?

Specs
DFI lanparty
MX4000
1hd
1CD/DVD burner

Is all Mushkin Blue made with UTT chips now? At the time I ordered my pair of Twinmos, I was under the impression that it was just certain Twinmos sticks and OCZ VX.

Fatcat: It won't be stable for high overclocks, especially if you've got a hefty system. It should do for light overclocking, though.

I'd say get a better PSU with beefier amperage ratings (30A+ on the 3.3V, 5V and 12V rails) but give it a try. Hope ya prove me wrong.

It seems Mushkin has gotten hold of these UTT ICs as well.

Here's their teaser shots

Hmm...if my TwinMOS doesn't overclock well, I'm going to be sad that I didn't get a gig of this.

Just try burning in those TwinMOS sticks with memtest overnight. I was surprised at how well my sticks did after burning in. Initially, I got 3500 errors after the first 8 hours of looping memtest but now I only get 1200 after the next 8 hour session. I'll see how these sticks develop over the next couple of days.

Everyday. I just ignore all the threads posted by the Anand deal hunter like the plague. Never once thought AT posted something hot. When I thought Mushkin blue line, I thought the old CAS 2.5 value stuff they used to have, and for ~$65, that didn't sound good at all to me.

Are you being sarcastic? :p

yeah i have 2 sticks of twinmos UTT sitting on my floor...

just waiting for my backup rig so i can use that to burn in the UTT..

i hear the best thing to do is leave it at 200 mhz and use 3.0-3.2 volts for burn in...

Is that the OCZ method? I've read that you want to start burning them in at the highest speed that passes memtest and then to raise the speed incrementally until the errors go away.

After last nights burn-in, I went from 1200 errors down to 500 errors.

I'm seriously thinking of getting another Ultra-D to use as a memory burn-in mule. I also have some 3-year old BH-6 modules that I'd like to break in and I may be snapping up more of these UTT sticks.
