My god, Trump the Game sold over 5 million copies and can no longer be found in stores; amazing, just amazing.

Block Buster was successful for decades. Likewise BetaMax is still in use, just not for retail movie distribution.

I tried Orbitz; it wasn't bad. Chinese and Japanese beverage makers still produce varieties of drinks with gelatinous balls floating around.

Fluoride toothpaste is a failure?

Yeah, I can't really see including Blockbuster on the list.
I thought I remembered trying Orbitz in 1996, though. Once.

Yeah, Blockbuster wasn't really a failure. They were hugely successful for a while and the market simply changed. Blaming Blockbuster for losing out to streaming is like blaming the horse and buggy for losing out to the automobile.

Orbitz is still around..so I don't think that classifies as a failure...maybe THERE.

holy crap, Twitter Peak? $200 for a device that only sends tweets? I mean, even if smartphones weren't massive by that time, this is still a horribly stupid device with a ridiculous price. :D

Fluoride was once heralded as the savior to cleaner, whiter, healthier teeth. However after the Swedish Dental Association came out with a report casting doubt on the effects of fluoride (and raising some health concerns), consumers stopped scooping up fluoride toothpaste.

Very interesting
