Muse XL vs. SB Live in win2k

which is better???im growing tired of my sblive and would like to try something new and cheap.they have the muse @staples B&M for 30.00
will the muse work well under win2k?

If you're to try something new I'd highly recommend upping from the MuseXL to the FortissimoII. I personally wouldnt go with the MuseXL when there's a much better product in the FortissimoII.

I have both the Muse and the Fortissimo II (OEM). The Fortissumo II is a much better card than the Muse, but you'd be surprised at how well the Muse performs considering the price. I recently had to retire an old SBLive value because it just didn't work that great under WinXP, replaced it first with a Muse XL, then later replaced that with the Fortissimo II. Both can be had dirt cheap over at newegg.com ($16 for the Muse, $32 for the Fortissimo II OEM).
